welcome to red dog creations..

This is Scott. I have spent the night staying up writing people who can help the RD get our project: Freedom For All, which will be bringing the internet to as many elderly people as we can. So far we have given a few dozen computers to an out of state Veteran's home in Sandusky, Ohio, where my mother, Sharon Bronsink, has spent decades volunteering.

Now, in Chicago, we will actually being going out and teaching people the basics of the computer. I have designed a class that anyone who reads this is free to use. I will add to it as I go along. I have a brilliant test subject, an actress, belly dancer, teacher, jazz singer, poet who is going to be my test subject. After her, I will take what I learn and teach a group from the Perry House, where Cookie lives (I cannot spell her name with the cool african spelling it deserves).

We are planning our next big shoot on November 5th, but I am finally getting a webcam on wensday so I can begin to get me reading poetry up on line, as well as whatever little stuff I decide to do that day. I want people to watch me paint, live... I will get that set up soon. I will also being live feeds when we are out shooting cool bands, but all of that takes time and we are investing everything we have into getting everything going without asking anyone for one red dime.

We are setting up a deal with the Little Brothers Of The Poor to supply computers to people who cannot afford them, and will accept whatever you would like to donate next time you upgrade... or if you are like me and have five keyboards in the closet... why not get rid of one?

Thank you all for coming in. I will keep you abreast of the project as we progress, letting you all know what works for us...

Basically, the course we are working with now (feel free to offer criticism, please), begins with a session on how to use email. Next, we move to search engines. The third session I sit up Blogs for everyone, and teach them how to upload photos on the web. I make myself very available to my students, so they feel free calling me with any question at all. I know how frustrating the smallest mistake can make a computer act.

Have a wonderful day.
